Step #1 – Locations Manager (Locations page found under the Distribution menu)
Make all necessary location updates as required:
- Add/Remove locations including temp stops
- Change delivery sequences
- Change draws where necessary
Step #2 – Press Run Generation
Add the new Issue record (Issues page under the Circulation menu)
- Issue date
- Select Cover Story Category, Cover Art and Major Color from dropdown menus
- Add page count
- Add Papers/Bundle (PPB)
Generate the Press Run (Generate Press Run tab on the Draw Generator page under the Circulation menu)
Select the date of the Issue created in the previous step and click the Generate Press Run button. You can only Generate a Press Run for a current or future date. You cannot generate a press for a past date.
Step #3 – Delivery Reports (Found on the Dispatch Menu or Drivers Dashboard)
Download and prepare the newly created Dispatch Reports and Route Lists for the drivers from the Dispatch menu.
Drivers can also access this info themselves from the Driver Dashboard.
Step #4 – Returns Entry (Returns page found under the Circulation menu or Drivers Dashboard)
Once drivers have completed their deliveries and recorded all returns, they can enter the data into the Drivers Dashboard or send in the numbers for the Distribution Manager/Assistant to enter them.
Step #5 – Sales Analytics (Sales Performance Reports under the Sales menu)
View various sales metrics from the Dashboard and Sales Performance Reports.
Step #6 - Draw Optimization (Draw Generator page)
- Optimize non-sellout locations
- Optimize sell-out locations
- Use Draw Adjuster to make changes to current locations’ draws
Step #7 – Quality Control (Audits and Service)
Record all audits then compare the audit data with the set draw and reported returns for a specific publication date.
Record and track all outstanding service requests plus view the completed service records as well.
