Once a press run has been successfully generated for the next publication date, navigate to the Dispatch menu to view a list of the available Dispatch Reports and Route Lists:
Working with the Dispatch Reports
The Reports pages are different from the Grid pages. The Reports are non-editable and mainly used for exporting into either an excel spreadsheet or a PDF.
Whenever you change the selection in the drop down menu at the top of the report, you need to click the View Report button () to refresh the data on the report itself.
To export the Report, click on the Export Menu button () and select the format you wish to export the report too.
Planned Dispatch Reports
There are two different Planned Dispatch reports to chose from. The Planned Dispatch provides a breakdown by drivers first, then routes. This is a good report to use if you have drivers who do multiple routes because it will provide drivers' totals as well as the individual route totals:
The Planned Dispatch by Route is a more simplified report that provides the breakdown by route first then the driver assigned to each route:
The Loading Report can be used by a Dispatcher to record each driver's product load pickup time from the printer or load point. There is also a place to record the print times and any other print or loading information that may be important.
The Order (or Load Order) can be modified on this report as well. To modified the Load Order, navigate to the Routes page (under the Distribution menu) and set the Load Order for each route:
There are two types of Route Sheets available to use: Route Sheet and Route Sheet Rack Detail. Both route sheets provide the drivers with Route Notes, Total Stops, Total Papers, Bundle Counts and the Delivery Locations. Here is an example of the basic Route Sheet:
Route Sheet Rack Detail provides additional rack information (Rack Type and Rack Memo) plus a bundle and loose count for each location:
Extra Note: The Draw and Ret column will shade grey for any location that has it's No Returns field checked.
Downloading Route Sheets
If you have multiple routes selected from the drop down menu, all selected routes will be downloaded.
As a PDF, it will be one file, with one route after the other. In excel (spreadsheet), each route will be on its own workbook within the excel file.
Route Note Summary
The Route Note Summary report will show you all the routes that have Route Notes on them:
